I had an urge to try out a shawl top idea that is inspired by the
previous butterfly top in my own wardrobe and a little bit by kimonos.
Im very happy with the results and imagine this garment being made of a
slightly warmer and heavier fabric to be an outer layer of an outfit or
in contrast it could be made from the lightest silks to help with the
visual layering and seethrough effects of an outfit. This garment would
also look great with a trim.
I love how simple the pattern is for this piece and the cleaness that creates in the end look.
